Building to begin on Liverpool’s first specialist cancer hospital
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and Laing O’Rourke have finalised the contract to build a new cancer hospital in Liverpool. Comedian Johnny Vegas and Everton legend Ian Snodin joined Deputy Chief Executive Yvonne Bottomely at the build site to celebrate the significant milestone in the project. Further developments are also planned at the current site of The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Wirral, following completion of the new Liverpool cancer centre.
